#CarrieOn : Vision

Vision is not a task, it is a practice.  Effective leaders must engage regularly in growing their vision for their organization.  Vision must be organic and have life and it needs be a part of your daily journey.  Zig Ziglar said “If you aim at nothing you will hit it every time.”  Your work is too important to sacrifice even one day that isn’t spent working to grow your vision.

Here is the key to vision: You plant the seeds of vision ~ and you must inspire your team to nourish the growth.  Your vision must become shared and invigorating or it will simply expire as an initiative.  It is your responsibility, as the leader, to seek out what is next, share what improvement (or growth) might look like and support those who are brave enough to truly test ‘the sky's the limit’.

Vision is what sets apart the best of the best.  Vision is what ignites drive.  Vision is what makes the difference. #CarrieOn

Challenge Questions:

Do you practice developing a vision?

Do others know and understand the vision that drives you?

Do people share your vision?
